Baterías

“Baterías” refers to devices that store and provide electrical energy through chemical reactions. Typically composed of one or more electrochemical cells, batteries convert chemical energy into electrical energy, making them essential for powering a wide range of devices, from small electronics like remote controls and smartphones to larger applications such as electric vehicles and grid storage systems.

Batteries are categorized primarily into two types: primary batteries, which are designed for single-use and cannot be recharged once depleted, and secondary batteries, which can be recharged and reused multiple times. Common examples of secondary batteries include lithium-ion, nickel-metal hydride, and lead-acid batteries.

Batteries are pivotal in modern technology, enabling portability and convenience in energy use, while advancements in battery technology continue to drive innovations in energy storage solutions and renewable energy systems.
