Tanzania

Tanzania is a country located in East Africa. It is bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east, and shares land borders with Kenya and Uganda to the north, Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west, and Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique to the south. The capital city is Dodoma, while Dar es Salaam is the largest city and a major port. Tanzania is known for its diverse geography, which includes plains, mountains, and lakes, as well as notable landmarks such as Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, and the Serengeti National Park, renowned for its wildlife and annual migration of wildebeest and other animals. The country has a rich cultural heritage with multiple ethnic groups, languages, and traditions, and its official languages are Swahili and English. Tanzania has a mixed economy, relying on agriculture, tourism, and natural resources. The country is also home to the island of Zanzibar, famous for its history, spice trade, and beautiful beaches.
