United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a country located on the southeastern corner of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia. It is a federation composed of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al-Quwain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah. Established in 1971, the UAE has a diverse and rapidly growing economy, largely due to its vast oil and natural gas reserves, though it is also known for tourism, trade, and finance. The capital of the UAE is Abu Dhabi, while Dubai is its most populous city and a major global city known for its modern architecture and vibrant cultural scene. The UAE is characterized by its rich cultural heritage, modern infrastructure, and strategic geographic location as a hub for trade between the East and West.
